Xinyi Ng is a Scientist in Patient-Centered Outcomes and Real-World Evidence & Data Analytics, located in Pharmerit’s Bethesda office. Her research interests include using patient-reported outcomes (PROs) to assess impact of treatment interventions and using methodologies in stated preferences to facilitate medical decision making.
Her expertise include the use of discrete choice experiments (DCEs) and best-worst scaling (BWS) for benefit-risks assessments and the elicitation of stakeholders’ preferences for treatment interventions. She is trained on several software packages used for DCE designs and analysis, including Sawtooth software, LatentGold, SAS and STATA. Her research areas span across several therapeutic areas such as psychiatry, rheumatology, immunology, infectious disease, hematology and oncology. Besides working with primary data, Xinyi has also worked on projects using secondary data such as the Medicare Current Beneficiaries Survey and SEER-Medicare. Xinyi holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Health Services Research from the University of Maryland.
