Rachel Bakker is a Senior Scientist in the Rotterdam, The Netherlands office. Rachel works within the Real-World Evidence and Data Analytics Center of Excellence. Her main expertise is in designing and conducting chart review projects and physician surveys to gain insight in e.g. real-world treatment patterns or prescribed dosages.

Rachel has experience with performing regression analyses, (network) meta-analyses, systematic reviews, repeated measurements and survival and utility analyses using analysis programs, including SPSS, STATA, SAS and R. Her experience also includes performing clinical trial analyses and network meta-analyses to inform cost-effectiveness models. Disease areas she has worked in include neurology (multiple sclerosis, epilepsy), oncology and hematology (haemophilia, ALL, AML and Hodgkin’s lymphoma). Rachel holds a Master degree in Human Movement Sciences (VU Amsterdam, the Netherlands), a Master degree in Health Sciences, with a specialization in Epidemiology (Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands) and a PhD degree in Epidemiology (Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands).
