Laura is a Research Consultant in the Modeling and Meta-Analysis team, as well as the Strategic Market Access team. She joined Pharmerit in 2015 as part of the York office and has experience with health economic modelling (cost-effectiveness, cost-minimization and budget impact models), including building (early) cost-effectiveness models from scratch, as well as literature reviews, global value dossier and landscape analyses in disease areas ranging from oncology to infectious diseases.
Laura holds a Bachelor degree in Economics and Law from Amsterdam University College in the Netherlands and an MSc degree in Health Economics, Policy and Management from Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden. For her master thesis, she collaborated with the Swedish Agency for Health Technology Assessment (SBU) and the Public Health Sciences department at Karolinska Institutet. As part of her study she conducted a systematic literature review of economic evaluations in the field of childhood overweight and obesity interventions and complemented this with the cost-effectiveness analysis of the “A Healthy School Start II” study.
