Real-World Evidence & Data Analytics; Patient-Centered Outcomes
Katharina Verleger is a Research Consultant in the Berlin office. She works in the Data Analysis/Real-World Evidence and Patient-Centered Outcomes teams. Her main expertise is in conducting all stages of chart reviews, from study design to analysis and publication.
Since joining Pharmerit in 2013, Katharina has gained experience within the field of oncology (particularly non-small cell lung cancer), respiratory, and tropical diseases. In addition to chart reviews, Katharina has been involved in conducting and reporting on various types of Health Economic and Outcomes Research (HEOR) projects including network meta-analysis, cost-effectiveness modeling, and systematic literature reviews. Her experience also includes qualitative patient reported outcomes (PRO) research. She has presented work at ISPOR and WCLC and has published in peer-reviewed journals.
Katharina holds a Master of Public Health (MPH), for which she wrote her thesis on questionnaire validation in the field of chronic pain. With a second master’s degree in the social sciences, Katharina has a sound background in both quantitative and qualitative methods, including interview techniques and statistical programming skills in Stata and SAS. She speaks English, French, and German fluently as well as some Spanish and Hebrew.
