Chris Azinger is an Associate Director with Pharmerit International’s Real-World Evidence & Data Analytics and Strategic Market Access teams. He has over twelve years of clinical research experience in a variety of therapeutic areas including infectious diseases, oncology, nephrology, neurology, rheumatology, fertility, and orphan diseases.
He has primarily focused on late phase research in Contract Research Organization (CRO) settings including phase IV trials, pregnancy registries, retrospective database analysis, health economic modeling, and structured literature reviews. Chris has managed teams from multiple functional areas including data management, safety, medical writing, regulatory document collection and maintenance, biostatistics, patient access and retention, quality assurance, and finance. His experience ranges from managing small, regional projects to complex global studies across multiple continents. Prior to joining Pharmerit, Chris was Senior Project Manager at Mapi Group (formerly Optum), a Project Leader at Kendle International, and Project Manager/Outcomes Scientist at Abt Associates. Mr. Atzinger holds a BA in Biology from the University of Louisville, an MHS in International Health from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, and a PhD in Pharmacoeconomics & Pharmacoepidemiology from the University of Cincinnati.
