Pharmerit

Pharmerit is an international consultancy firm with offices in Rotterdam, York and Washington. We are specialized in building health-econometric models for major pharmaceutical companies. In these models, short term trial results are linked to long term epidemiological data to predict the long term consequences of new drugs in terms of life expectancy and costs. The results of these models are used during drug development and reimbursement decisions on a global scale.

Description of responsibilities

The entry level econometrician will have a responsibility for coordinating their own projects, co-operating with other project team members to ensure that work is delivered on time. This will involve the successful candidate setting priorities with regards to completing projects in an accurate, timely and cost-efficient manner. The econometrician will be expected to conduct data analyses, survival analyses, develop and program models e.g. Markov models or Discrete Event simulation models, implement study designs and statistical analysis plans, aid in the preparation of concept reports and manuscripts, and attend relevant client and scientific meetings.
