Sonya Snedecor, PhD
Sonya has a B.A. in mathematics from Hampton University and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Biomathematics from the University of California at Los Angeles. She has also performed post-doctoral fellowships in biostatistics (UCLA) and pharmaceutical economics (University of Florida).
Sonya joined Pharmerit in October 2005 and has a wide range of expertise in computer modeling and economic evaluations of health care interventions. Her heath economic experience includes database analysis and cost-effectiveness modeling in diverse applications such as mental health, HIV, urinary dysfunction, malaria, and vaccines. Her mathematical experience includes dynamic modeling and pharmacokinetic modeling. At Pharmerit, Sonya has combined these skills to develop a number of dynamic epidemiological models to simulate the transmission of disease in computing platforms such as Visual Basic and Java to provide clients with a mechanism to identify the full potential of their vaccines. |
