Kim Tran, MPH, MS
Ms. Tran is a Ph.D. candidate in epidemiology at San Diego State University / University of California San Diego and holds a Master's degree in Public Health from Tulane University, a Master's degree in Physiology from Georgetown University, and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from the University of California San Diego.
Ms. Tran's primary responsibilities are to work with the Project Director to implement the day-to-day activities associated with projects. Her responsibilities include clinical research, study design and implementation, data analysis, comprehensive literature reviews, and manuscript/technical writing. Her work has included economic and quality of life issues in asthma, oncology, vaccines, cardiology, vascular surgery, mental health, oncology, and rare genetic diseases in children. Prior to joining Pharmerit, Ms. Tran worked with Abt Associates Clinical Trials where she was project manager and research scientist for a variety of projects, including a multi-year outcomes registry for a new product with more than 100 study sites in the U.S. During her MPH program for the Louisiana Department of Public Health, where she worked in Maternal and Child Health Epidemiology examining unexpected injury deaths in Louisiana children. These tasks required expertise in statistical programming, interpretation, and the ability to work effectively with team of researchers. |
