Vân Bui, MSc

Vân holds a M.Sc. degree in Econometrics and Management Science specialized in Operations Research and Quantitative Logistics from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam where she graduated in 2009. For her master’s thesis she developed and implemented an algorithm for the vehicle routing problem with time windows. She has worked on a variety of projects including a capacity planning in nursing homes for psycho geriatric and somatic patients; designing and implementing a planning tool that schedules the capacity of policlinics, diagnostics, nursing and OR according to the holiday leave of the physicians per department.

Vân joined Pharmerit in November 2009 and is employed as Junior Research Consultant in the Rotterdam Office. Currently she is involved in a project for ADHD medication. She is responsible for the meta-analysis and mixed treatment comparison assessing the relative efficacy and safety of different medications in ADHD. She is skilled in using software packages such as R, WinBugs, Matlab, Java, Eviews, Visual Basics and Microsoft Excel.
