Roelien Postema, MSc
Roelien holds a PharmD degree from the University of Groningen where she graduated in 2008. For her masters thesis she conducted a research internship at the University of Groningen in cooperation with a psychiatric institution (GGZ Drenthe) where she was involved in a 12-month naturalistic follow-up study of switching overweight schizophrenic patients to Aripiprazole. Besides that she was part of the research group PHAMOUS with its main focus on the metabolic syndrome in psychiatric patients. She also did a medical case record research during her hospital internship about bleedings during and after open heart surgery and the use of Eptacog alfa.
Roelien joined Pharmerit in 2009 where she is employed as a junior research consultant at the Rotterdam office. Her main responsibilities are data gathering, data analysis, health economic model development, model analysis and client management. She has been working on several projects under which disease areas depression and dupuytren’s disease. |
