Bart Heeg, Msc
Bart holds a M.Sc. degree in Pharmacy, received at the University of Groningen, a M.Sc. degree in Clinical Epidemiology received at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam and he is completing a PhD.
Bart joined Pharmerit in 2001 and is currently Director Health Economics and Outcomes Research. His main responsibilities are overseeing and managing projects; intellectual design and content; writing and dissemination of model results in private reports and peer-reviewed articles/poster/podium presentations. Moreover, he is responsible for business development and finances of Pharmerit NL.
He has worked on numerous indications including oncology, cardiovascular disease, diabetes schizophrenia, HIV, bipolar disorder, depression, glaucoma and Parkinson’s disease, infectious disease, hematology and osteoporosis. The results of several of his modeling studies have been used to support applications for reimbursement of new pharmaceutical products in numerous European countries (e.g. Spain, Italy, UK, Scandinavia, Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal and the Baltics and in Canada). Moreover, he has authored articles in for instance Pharmacoeconomics and Value in Health. |
